Chisipite has more that 70 academic staff and can cater for 750 pupils, with boarding facilities for 150 girls.

The School has a vibrant, involved Parent Teacher Liaison Committee (PTLC) whose main task it is to facilitate the participation of the parents in the numerous school events. Each year group and the boarding hostel have representatives on the PTLC.

Each pupil belongs to a Form, which is under the care of a Form Teacher and two Form Leaders. The Form Teacher is the first contact for parents. In charge of each year group is a Line Mistress who co-ordinates the activities and needs of the year group. Attendance and minor discipline problems are her responsibility.

The school pays great attention to pastoral care incorporating Life Skills lessons into the curriculum and employing two Staff Counsellors. Interested Sixth Formers may also be trained as a "Listener" to act as support to the junior pupils.
